| Monday 28th May - Arlington - Under 1600cc Bangers Arlington drew a decent field of 45 Under 1600cc Bangers for a wet Bank Holiday session. Car wise 27 Dale Hughes returned a Capri, whilst 200 Dean Archer had a fresh one. 348 Mushy had a Mondeo whilst 461 Wayne Phillips topped the bill with a Mk 5 Cortina. A debateable decision to run all in meant 45 out for the Heat and carnage as you’d expect. 322 Twiggo ran 583 Weeksy around the Armco before 27 Dale Hughes and 461 Wayne Phillips went in at the front of a big train. 384 Liam Conway followed in 399 Phil Cullen with 779 Curtis Robinson adding 514 Marty Eighteen to the rapidly growing pile up seconds later. 900 Simon Vincent jacked 194 Cecil with 467 Sheldon Grimes sticking it to Vincent before being done himself by 547 Danny Verrall who was on the receiving end of a follow in from 322 Twiggo. 439 Danny Sutton ran 200 Dean Archer into the Armco with 206 Kingy happy to jack the Anglian, with 614 Mr Lossy adding 348 Mushy to the pile up also. 483 Baboon jacked 84 Bleach as the reds appeared for a blocked track. 15 survived for the Restart with 363 Bulley attacking 583 Weeksy, and 894 Mark Almeida spun 779 Curtis Robinson infront of the grandstand, leaving the latter open to a fine shot from 363 Bulley. 741 Parfitt took the win and celebrated with a shot on Weeksy. Impressively 37 returned for the Final with 384 Conway finding the wall from the off and 172 Manic buried 522 Weevil. 340 Jonesy stuck it to 614 Mr Lossy over the back wheel as 478 Mark Logan took 726 Mark Pope in on the pit bends. 894 Mark Almeida ran 483 Baboon into the pile up with 614 Mr Lossy nailing Baboon, followed by 384 Bad Boy Liam nailing Lossy and 801 Dan Cook nailing Liam to end a cracking train. 439 Sutton jacked 84 Bleach and took one in turn from 348 Mushy with Bleach recovering to wall 206 Kingy on the top bend before stopping 194 Cecil on the nose. 433 Ben Smith ran in 52 Tyrone Poulter before 384 Conway gave 954 a big hit on th top bend. 528 Jethro ran in 516 Gouldy hard on the pit bend whilst 730 Mazie spun 741 Parfitt into the pit gate on the final bend to take the win. A good field of 23 assembled for the Dash with 478 Mark Logan kicking things off running in 200 Dangerous Deano. 439 Danny Sutton leathered 467 Sheldon Grimes’ Sunny as 24 Stinky spun 158 Shane Davies before following in 299 Huxley a lap later. 27 Dale Hughes slowed down and was jacked by 194 Cecil as a result before taking a further shot from 322 Twiggo. 478 Mark Logan jacked 194 Cecil on the shale and took a shot from 528 Jethro as a consequence. The DD attracted 19 with some pulling off and some joining from the middle. 478 Mark Logan took 900 Simon Vincent in with 467 Grimes doing Vincent before taking a shot from 348 Mushy. 158 Davies stuck it to Vicent with 514 Marty Eighteen doing Mr Lossy, before hitting Davies. 384 Conway jacked Eighteen with Logan doing Conway in turn. 264 Welland did Davies over the front wheel as a pile up began to form where it had done all day! 514 Eighteen stuck it to Logan, with Weeeksy nailing Eighteen before taking one from 223 Terry Hyson who got a large t-bone from 264 Welland for his troubles. Mushy then nailed Mr Lossy as 206 Kingy came against the flow to do Almeida. The Mush dished out a big t-bone to Conway before meeting Almeida head on. Jethro and Mr Lossy exchanged hits with the latter coming out on top in a very bent Bluebird.
