Sunday 3rd June - Bovingdon - Mini & Metro Bangers

A tidy turn out of 34 cars for a Mini & Metro domestic at Bovingdon, with 158 Shane Davies the only non-Metro, bringing
a well smart Mini.

All out for Heat 1 with 803 Lee Vockins on the offensive straight away havint out 206 Kingy before attacking 131
Wadey. Vockins went on to stick it to 247 Bro as 322 Twiggo span out 433 Ben Smith. 252 Boogie picked up and
buried 371 Mark Wyatt hard on the pit bend. 522 Weevil nailed 340 Jonesy over the back wheel as 802 Lee Holland
followed in 46 Maverick infront of the pit bend crowd. 24 Stinky jacked Holland as 340 Jonesy took 803 Vockins into
Wyatt’s empty car, trashing it further. 803 Vockins span out 247 Bro, who backed him in allowing 322 Twiggo to stick it
to the local. 146 Wiggy saw out the race spinning 58 Greg Stevens as 801 Haribo took the win.

The Final was up next and 30 appeared for it. 803 Vockins span 93 Firestorm into a massive roll from the off, the latter
lucky not to go over the Armco. The reds appeared to allow Warren out of his car. On the restart322 Twiggo had out
433 Ben Smith and 801 Haribo whilst at the opposite end 714 Luke Hedson spun 158 Davies in the Mini, leaving himself
open to a shot from 895 Brenden Herve. 801 Haribo walled 194 Cecil, the latter replying with a head on. 146 Wiggy
stuck it to 714 Hedson, with 730 Mazie also piling in and rolling impact bringing out the reds once again, with 183
Struddy rolling as he parked up on the infield! On the restart 741 Parfitt leant in 802 Stephen Holland, allowing 46
Maverick revenge for the earlier hit with a solid jacking, prompting Holland to turn round and drive through Maverick’s
door before doing him on oppo. 741 Parfitt seized the initiative and drove straight through Holland on his way past, this
further upsetting many members of the crowd, one even throwing a can of coke onto the track! 348 Mush attacked 206
Kingy last bend for the win, whilst some unpretty scenes after the race involving members of the crowd who clearly
weren’t happy, credit to the other drivers involved who weren’t interested in the argument!

An 8 lap dash into DD attracted 26 cars with 730 Mazie having 801 Haribo out from the off, with 172 Manic nailing the
local man, and 244 Bunny also applying a head on. 801 Haribo fired back with a shot over Bunny’s back wheel as 522
Weevil rolled on the top bend bringing out the reds. On the restart 247 Bro jacked 895 Brenden Herve with 172 Manic
burying 252 Boogie into the Anglian. 349 Allard buried 93 Northy as we went into the DD with Bunny pinning Haribo at
the bottom of the straight, and 206 Kingy delivering a bit shot. 322 Twiggo t-boned 149 Wiggy before taking a similar hit
from 158 Davies before both 348 Mushy and 895 Herve ended up on their roofs. On the restart Kingy punished Haribo
further with a t-bone as 349 Allard met 340 Jonesy in a big head on, 146 Wiggy soon arriving to destroy Allard before
Bunny killed Haribo with one final t-bone. 46 Maverick jacked 614 Mr Lossy before 522 Weevil met 202 Kilf head on,
with Jonesy sticking it to Weevil in turn. Davies met Bunny on the nose as Welland gave Jonesy a stiff hit over the back
wheel on oppo. 348 Mushy t-boned Weevil on oppo, with Kilf jacking the Mush, and Maverick and Welland completing
a cracking train on the pit bend. 264 Welland punished both Maverick and Mushy with a series of hits before rolling
Mushy onto his side to take the win.
